Review | Nivea Double Effect Eye MakeUp Remover

Hello Angels
I don't do much of review post and even if I do indulge in them I talk about several without restricting to one product. But today am slightly deviating from history because this one product deserves a whole page!

If you haven't already noticed I define my eyes intensely with liquid eye liner (top and bottom) followed by kohl on my water line and mascara. I have been religiously using the so very famous Bioderma make up remover for the past 5 to 6 months.  But the only downside i face is, though i remove my make up before hitting bed, next day morning my water line and tear duct is filled with eye liner residue. Which i then have to clean again. I quite don't like this additional process.

As a solution, I decided to invest in a eye make up remover. The thought of using two different removers didn't excite me much though. I opted for the Nivea Double Effect Eye Make Up Remover  Nivea has proved to be a trust worthy brand and they have been in cosmetic market since ever!

The product effectively removes my eye liner leaving zero residue and a clean bright skin. Waterproof mascara or lipstick cleans up in a jiffy with this product. No intense rubbing required. Apply them to a cotton pad and gently rub them once over your eyes. DONE! It doesn't burn your eyes or smell weird. Suitable for those using contact lenses too. I would highly recommend this product a try. Especially if your into heavy eye make up.

The texture of the liquid is extremely different from Bioderma. It feels oily when first applied, but dries out in sometime. I did take some time to get used to this change but was overwhelmed by the end result.

I will continue to use Bioderma for face make up removal but for eyes am sold to Nivea

Have you tried this product before? Did you like it?
Any other suggestions?
♥ xoxo

  1. Great review! This sounds interesting, I'm not sure if I'd be a fan of the oily texture. As I do love my micellaire water :)
