Happy New Year to all you lovely peeps....

My first post for 2015 is all about some FAB pencil beauty products. These have been a part of my routine

for pretty long time and i absolutely DOT on them. 

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye/Lip Pencil 

These beauties from Urban Decay are a must have. Color eye liners are not my cup of tea but nevertheless i gave them a go (blogger genes!!). The texture absolutely steals the show - Super smooth, creamy, well pigmented and waterproof!! Ingredients include Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E and Cottonseed Oil to keep your eye moisturized. 

Deviant and Ranson are gorgeous metallic Blue and Purple (Deviant being slightly more favorite). I don't go overboard with them though keeping in mind they can be quite 'Poppin'... So a tad bit on lower waterline does the trick. Available in 10 shades.

The Lip Pencils are equally good but not creamy as above. Which meets the purpose in a way because we don't want a lip liner that moves around.

Face shop Catch My Eye Liner

Here is a keeper. Black eye liner from Face Shop is very reasonably priced with absolute no comprise in quality. Smooth and long lasting. The tip allows easy application without having to exert too much pressure. 

and it comes with a blender tip.

Autumn/Fall Make-up Look

Time 11:35PM (sleepless me with a cup of tea drafting this post)

In Dubai there is largely only 2 seasons - Summer (9 months) and moderate winter (3 months). Unlike some of you blessed with a Real winter, Autumn and Spring!! (Jealous)

Its all about Autumn/Fall now. So what more appropriate than a creating a look that blends in with the season. I've used a mix of some old and new favorites. 

Lipstick being the 'Poppin' factor here. I've used Sephora's Rouge Infusion in No.14. I am not a 'deep maroon' color person but somehow totally digging this look on myself recently! Foundation, non other than my holy grail Dior Star, Marc Jacobs Mascara and no blush.

For eyes - Nars Dual Intensity shadow in Subra and 24/7 glide on eyeliner from Urban Decay. This eyeliner don't budge, even on me (my eyes get watery often!!). Very impressive and definitely repurchasing.

Coulped in with my new favorite perfume from Guerlain - Santal Royal. The scent is very true to middle eastern culture and taste. 

Can we not overlook the my stunning new bracelet from C Wonder. This one store is capable of ripping my wallet. Their jewelry and home wares are especially to die for. I simpley love how simple yet how elegant his bracelet looks. 18k carat gold plated and comes with different initials. I went after my husband's.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara | Review

When it comes to Mascara i think we are spoiled for choices. Literally. There are sooo many out there doing an above average job. Volumizing, lengthening are key look out factors. This week i fell for a new launch from Urban Decay.  

Perversion by Urban Decay is super pigmented. Dark jet black. The brush is densely packed with bristles. These kinda brushes are good to add volume. On application, first thought that crossed my mind was SOFT! 

What sold me to this product?? The bristles are super soft and the consistency of the Mascara is slightly liquid-y, making the application smooth and easy to 'pull' (even after 2 coats!!). 

No clumping. Adds good volume. My lashes look fuller and clump free. With the bigger brush, yes application on lower lashes is tad bit difficult but i guess this is a common issue with most mascaras. 

I love the sleek packaging and length of the wand. All in all am doting on this product at the moment and highly recommend it.

The special edition box comes with a mini Subversion Lash Primer. A renewed version of UD's discontinued lash primer. The product basically allows smooth application and preps your lashes. But with Perversion, you can easily do without this primer. 

However, with other slightly more thick textured mascaras this primer comes in use. 

Give this mascara a try ladies. Love
