M.A.C LOVE | Highlighter + Eyeliner

I've been long obsessed with highlighters. Some of my favorites being Mary Lou by The Balm, Nars stick highlighter, Dior Skin Flash, Chanel Le Blanc and now M.A.Cs Prep + Prime. 

The twister pen technique allows controlled application. The color is absolutely gorgeous, not too pearl white not too peachy. The right combination of both. I tend to use it under by eyes area and drag it slightly towards my cheek bone for that perfect glow. On special occasions, there is no stopping me - it goes on my cheekbone, chin, bridge of my nose and forehead. The texture is liquid-y but it hardly greases and sits well even without powder. 

love, love, love and a must try. 

For about 2 months now I've been using black pencil to line my eyes. Eventually reached a stage where i was desperately missing those liquid liners. 

I checked out Makeupforever and Illamasqua but settled finally for MAC. MAC do both rigid and soft brush liquid liners. I went for the rigid one because this gives me more precision and control. It allows you to draw that perfect flick. What more can i ask for?

It hardly hardly budges. Given the fact my eyes get very water-y at times.

Pink Love

Am gravitating towards pink a lot lately. There was a phase when all you would spot me wearing was a red lippy and polish and now am reaching for all shades of pink. From lipstick - Blush - Nail polish.

Here are some of my most commonly reached for items this week. Since i have turned into such a nail paint freak, i cannot but stress on how much i love Essie's Lovie Dovie and Chanel's May. The latter was a gift from a dear friend on my b'day! Yes, she knows me veryyy well. It is a gorgeous muted pink and one of the best selling colors of Chanel. However, i am not a huge fan of  Chanel polishes when it comes to finish, compared to Dior. 

Chanel cream blushers are must haves. The one i own is Inspiration (64). The texture is creamy but whilst application it turns into a smooth powdery texture, making it a dream to work with. They come in several beautiful shades from dark to light. Easily blendable with bare fingers. Pop into a near by store and give them a try.

Mac Mini Haul | Review

What's your favorite makeup product among all?? Mine would be without doubt Blush and then perhaps lipstick! 

I recently gifted myself 2 Mac blushes - Well dressed and Pink Swoon. I spend a lot of time researching and reading reviews before deciding on a color. And these 2 came out to be very appealing.

My love for well dressed is hard to explain. It sweeps away the title of my 'absolute favorite' color by far among all blushes i own. Light violet with a soft touch of pink. My description does no justice. It appears very light on skin and hence may require a couple of strokes for a visible impact.

Pink swoon - have you heard of Estée Lauders Electric pink? The color is beyond gorgeous. But unfortunately the same is not available in Dubai or on any online stores i checked. As an alternative (though not replacement for Electric pink though) i bagged Pink Swoon by Mac. Gorgeous pink. Looks kinda bright but when applied carefully it leaves behind a gorgeous pretty pink kissed cheeks. Gives your face an instant lift.

Here in Dubai, Mac stores stock less of refills. So though I have a blush palette, I still have to spent more and get one with casing and then depot 'em. What a pain!!

Last weekend i went MAC crazy. Literally!!

All those who follow me on Instagram or twitter would know about this shopping spree of mine.

I bought myself (finally) 2 Mac palette cases. One for my blushers and another for my eye shadows. These are without doubt very expensive. But since i travel a lot and a bit of an organize freak, i felt this will serve me good. Depoting my blushers was a task but once i got the knack of it, it took me less than 5 min to depot a blush. 

All in all i have 3 Mac blushers and 2 Mac eye shadows. I own more of Mac lipsticks than any other product of their's. But i see myself buying a lot more in future, so this will come in handy. The eye shadow you spot in the pic is 'woodwinked'. Perhaps one of the best Mac sellers. A lovely bronze orangy color.

Must say the feeling of owning Mac palettes is soo satisfying. The quality of the palette is excellent. 

Now moving on to the Lipstick. I had 6 Mac empties. So on returning them back to the store, i got to pick a free Lipstick. I choose Mac's Pink Nouveau. A lovely bubblegum pink. Satin finish and stays on for long. Gorgeous color.
