My Friday..

Hello Angels

It's Friday! woop woop...

Last night i slept at around 3 am and hence woke up quite late today morning. However, this didn't hinder my Friday morning routine of self pampering. I believe every girl need to allot herself one day in a week for self pampering. A candle lit bubble bath with a prolonged skin care routine is a must for me on every Friday. It washes away all my fatigue and tiredness build throughout the week. (am extremely enjoying the use of REN Glycolactic Mask. Let me know if you guys want a review on it) 

Friday also witnesses a lot of cleaning and tidying up. Today it was my vanity case! I love this case i bought not so long ago for my trip to Istanbul. Since then, it as become an integral part of my beauty storage. Isn't it a beauty in itself??

Then of course, i exploit the lavish time at my disposal to catch up with my favorite blogs and you tube videos.

Clicking pics and edit work on my up coming blog post is another common Friday sight..

This month am looking forward to quite a few no of post deliveries. My Casetagram for iphone 4s, GlamBox (something similar to the Glossy box in UK), Sigma Brush replacement and so on. And most importantly i have been working with Amy Arthurs on a blog makeover for Angel's Corner. I can't wait to install the new blog template....fingers crossed!

Lastly about half an hour ago, i received this hilarious spam message! I don't mind one Captain, but 2 sons??!!

O My, Another one!!

Hello Angels
Last week i celebrated my 2nd wedding anniversary! Yes, 2 glorious years together and it all feels like yesterday. My weakness for bags is well known to most. Am obsessed with Bags of all shapes and sizes.
To play it safe, my love went for the obvious choice and got me a Charles & Keith handbag. This particular brand comes up with the most classic, smart & beautiful collections. Excellent quality and reasonable price.

Let me tell you this is my first handbag in Black. Yes, a shocker! I tend to get attracted to non black colors. But this lady here, is a beauty and i love it. Compact looking, yet can accommodate all my junk. So thank you my love...

Moving on, below is a much loved outfit of the week. The top and trouser is from Zara (no surprises there!). I have been recently loving colored trousers. They look exceptionally smart with black/white tops. 

That's about it my lovelies. Let me also tell you, i am working on giving my blog a makeover. Very excited, as i always wanted a customized look. Fingers crossed.

A Magical book of truth - The Power

A book that inspired me. And to an extend put me on the right track♥

The power by Rhonda Byrne 

This book as changed my perception in a material way and am glad about it

Have you ever felt num? Blank? Or lost as to where life is taking you?

Have you settled for less in life just because you assume that's your faith or destiny?

Have you feared to Dream?

Have you held back from speaking your mind fearing the outcome?

Have you been consumed by negativity which led you to hard aches and difficult times?

Do you feel good about yourself?

Well, many of us may have nodded our heads to the above, at least I did

Often it happens that reality strikes us only when it gets explained to us, not that it was completely alien to us before. Something similar happened to me when I read this book. Perhaps most of things it said were stuffs and truth I was aware of. But I never convinced myself to act accordingly or implement them in my life

This book gave me a wake up call! And so it did to many...♥

It talks about how to live an amazing life. It helps you dream and desire. It helps you act and react. It clears out all that unnecessary doubts and skepticim away. Trust me it really does! Everyday we make billions of choices. What happens to us is not just faith, it is the outcome of our choices. If we realize this simple fact then life becomes less complex.

 Live on positive frequency. Take away the negativity. Use less of words like 'terribe', 'frustration', 'struggle' etc..treat others the way you would want to be treated. And it will come back to you...Karma

Whatever you may feel, whether good or bad, determines your frequency and accordingly attracts people, situation, events that are on the same frequency

To change anything - be it matters concerning money, health, relationships or anything for that matters we need to change the way we FEEL

I would highly recommend this book to each of you. I read one chapter everyday before I hit bed. I wake up each morning not cursing my hectic work schedule but thankful for another day and a Job itself.

'lil Miss went shopping again!!

Couple of things i picked over the past week! And i see myself living in them 

I absolutely ♥ this light chocolaty colored laced top from Promod. They had it in white and orange, but this color stood out! I love the detailing on the top. Simple and classy. You can dress it up with a navy or white trouser or keep it casual with a jean

This is my first every real jumper with a Hoody. Yes, you heard me right. I always always wanted one. But i never really really liked one. This one successfully ticked off all the boxes off my list.

Finally, my fav! This jumper gets a 10/10. That says it all. ♥

Review | Illamasqua Cream Blusher

Two days back I experienced the guilty pleasure when bagging an Illamasqua Cream Blusher - Promise

True to its name - the product promises not to let you down. This is my first Illamasqua product (first of many to come am sure!). I never really ventured into this brand though I had heard lots of goody goody things about them. And now I can vouch for it too...

 

The Texture

I love cream blushes generally because somehow it sits and blends better on your skin. This particular one as a great smooth creamy texture which allows you to effortlessly blend them onto your skin within seconds. Well pigmented. 

The Color

Pale pink with a blue base. Needless to say the color is gorgeous. It's a day and night color and captures fantastically on photos. 

Usage 

It can be applied underneath your foundation for a natural glow. Or over your foundation as usual. In either ways the product gives that natural glow to your skin. Which makes your skin look healthy and flawless. When applied lightly, it highlights the apple of your cheeks so very gracefully. 

Additional Pluses

I use them on my lip too...and trust me it looks wow!

I know for sure I will get full worth of money from this product because I can see myself reaching for it quite often.

Love is in the air! A very Happy Valentines Day to all...♥

I thought this would be an appropriate and interesting blog to post today

A quick, effortless DIY on Coffee Art Seals!!

Tiny beautiful details always bring that extra joy and happiness to me. Like a fine Coffee Art. I have tried my hand in mastering the skill but failed miserably. So for those like me, here goes....

An alternative solution, i came up with...♥

♥ Take a plastic or rubber tin cover preferably medium sized

♥ Sketch out the design you prefer

♥ Cut it out (with a knife or small scissors)

♥ And then.......Simply use them to sprinkle you choco, cocoa or cinnamon powder!
