Hello Angels

Some of you (esp those dieting) will hate me for this post. But i really don't understand what's up with ME? I have developed an irresistible urge to eat a lot during the past few weeks. Eat not just anything, but yum...delicious foods! No, am not Preg. I guess its just a period or a phase. 

But no complains. Am completely enjoying it. Trying out new restaurants and cafes as always been my thing. Paul is an absolute fav of mine. And below is one of my picks - A Chicken Faluche. Their desserts are also lip smacking good. Am trying to avoid junk. But occasionally i just lose control. :) I am gravitating a lot towards Salads too. Which i think is good in a way. 

I have a weakness towards anything sweet and chocolaty as well. So you may see am not lagging far behind there too. Food brings me joy. I don't eat just for the sake of eating. I enjoy my meals well. At least most of the times.

Cake Pops

Hello Angels

Its the weekend!! woohoo...

I have a sweet tooth that's no big secret now. Plus all those who follow me on Instagram would know this better. Last evening i baked a few cake pops for my 'lil cousins. 

Cake pops are nothing but cake on sticks. Very very simple to make. Firstly crumble the baked cake. Add frosting to this mixture. This will enable you to roll the cake into small cute balls. Place the balls in the freezer for 15 to 20min to firm up. Once done you can dip the balls into candy melt for that extra coating of sweetness and then sprinkle away toppings of your choice. 

I used crushed gems for my toppings. These make the perfect beautiful gift and kids love it (i love it too)

My Very Own Chanel Cupcakes

Hellloo Lovelies..

I might be saying this quite often now, but am super duper excited for this blog post. a) because this is my 100th blog post b) I feel extremely happy about my baking skills now.

Don't we all LOVE cupcakes?? I do. Especially those gorgeous decorated ones. They are a bundle of joy to me. Always brings a smile without fail. I aww at the creativity and skill used to design them, which eventually led me into thinking why not acquire the skill myself??!!

So here goes...All i had to learn was to make a fondant decor. Google and You tube came in handy as always and helped me with the basics. Baking a cupcake is easy, and making a decor for it is even simpler once you get a hang of it. Since am a makeup plus handbag junky, i took my inspiration from my weakness! Sounds weird!! :) ♥

Someday i may own a Chanel Bag. Til then i can just create my own mini edible ones. What say??

Its a chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing. For the decor i used white fondant. My store was out of black fondant unfortunately. But i manged to get hold of some coloring and painted them black!!

They turned out pretty good looking for a first timer. Woop Woop!! I was left with 2 extra cupcakes which i topped with Blue icing.

 Finally packed them away in beautiful Blue boxes. Set to be delivered to 3 of my Make up/ Chanel crazy friends! ♥ How did you like my firsthand at fondant decor? Would you like to see more designs?

A random post about a few things i picked up over the weekend
Customized Cupcakes
Have you seen anything more adorable? It was a gift to my dear friend on her baby shower. I ordered them from Bloomsbury Cafe. Their cakes are to die for. The right amount of Chocolate, the right amount of sugar...everything is perfect ♥ Since i wasn't sure if its going to be a girl or a boy, i mixed both themes. How smart!!

Aeropostale Flats/Sandals
I am not a huge fan of Aero clothing line. But they were on sale this week and these lovely bright neon flats caught my eye instantly. These are my first pair of actual neon footwear and i am loving 'em ♥ I feel its perfect for me because i tend to dress in shades of black mostly and this will help me add that extra BLING factor to my outfit.

H&M 

I got the below nail care set from H&M. Perhaps not of the best of best quality. But its sufficient to get the work done in a go. 

REN Vita Mineral Day Cream

Absolute no intro required for this very famous skin care brand. Its all over the internet and youtube. Well that justifies my purchase...:) I was on a look out for a good daily moisturizer and came across this one. Its too early for me to state an opinion however, you can expect a detailed review soon. Have you used it? Do share your views please.

On My Birthday!

Hello Angels

Today being my Birthday, i thought it would be only appropriate to give you guys a quick snapshot of my day!♥

It was a quiet day. On a weekday there isn't much one can do. Last night however, there was a BBQ slash B'day party. I thoroughly enjoyed the moment with my family. The weather was awesome. Yummilicious lamb chops and steaks were served accompanied by classic music.

 My B'day was celebrated at work too..Thanks to all my colleagues  Followed by a sweet surprise by my husband♥. He gifted me this beautiful charm bracelet from Pandora and i absolutely love 'em
